In September 2016, HIDI OPPORTUNITIES celebrated young women.We hosted The G.I.R.L.S Expo – Great Inspiring Relationships Like Sisters. Over 200 young girls, their families and supporting companies attended this epic event. The children were involved with educational, inspiring and entertaining activities. HIDI OPPORTUNITIES created memorable moments for the children such as red carpet, photobooth, shows, interactive workshops It was such a success we were asked to do it again for the young men.
On April 7,2018 HIDI OPPORTUNITIES & a host of sponsors such as American Cancer Society, NY Life Insurance, US Marines, FDNY just to name a few will celebrate our young men. The children will be empowered, encouraged and equip for life through a variation of character building classes and workshops. They will learn to understand and respect their differences, discuss their struggles, smile at their common interest and realize they are not much different from one another.
The children will attend the event as strangers and leave as friends. The goal is to build tomorrow’s community with today’s generation. At the conclusion of the day every young man in attendance will receive a “gift bag” filled with companies in attendance information, along with fun educational items as a parting gift; this is to symbolize their self-worth and a continuous reminder of the event. We invite business owners to participate in this event; as this will encourage the BOYS to become future entrepreneur as well as giving the business owners a chance to network with each other.
